An unconfirmed but reliable source - peace corps worker on San Christobal phoned us with a report of two fugitives who escaped police custody tonight and are on foot on San Christobal Island. At this point we don't know why the police had picked them up or what they were being held for, only that they had escaped. Be on the alert for anyone who may try to enter your home or steal a boat, tonight or during the day tomorrow, etc. until it is known whether they have been apprehended.
